The Dancing Illini "Welcome Back" Dance! 1:30-4:30 pm Place:
Illini Union Ballroom (on the second floor). Cost: free. Dances:
Ballroom, Latin, and nightclub music including swing, waltz, cha-cha,
hustle, salsa, rumba, and tango! Quickie lesson on Waltz and Swing from
1:30-2 pm taught by Andrew Tate and Michelle Guthrie (great
instructors). 3pm, demonstration!

InterVarsity Christian Fellowship is sponsoring a swing dance in the
huge Union ABC room.
There is a $2 cover and will start at 8 with lessons by Stefanie Welter
and Valentin Prisecaru. Dancing is from 9pm to midnite. This dance was
the biggest and swankiest swing event in Champaign last semester...
EVERYONE will be there! Seriously, don't miss it.

Tuesday, January 26 (day):
Activity Day ("Indoor Quad Day"). Location: Illini Union Rooms ABC
(where else?). Time: 10am to 3pm. We need people there from 10am to
3pm to be at the Swing Society booth. We will host a swing/lindy
demonstration at 1pm sharp, which will last for 10 minutes. Please
cheer us on!
Tuesday, January 26 (evening):
Legends. Beginner Swing lessons by Valentin Prisecaru and Christi
Hillebrand, 9pm. Dancing, 10pm to 1am.
Wednesday and Thursday, January 27, 28:
Justin and Valentin's Lindy Hop and East Coast Swing classes:
Classes begin January 27 or 28th, are 4 weeks long, and are one hour per
week. Cost: $20 for the entire 4 weeks. You don't need a partner; we
rotate partners! All ages welcome. Location: CRU (Campus Crusades for
Christ) building, located on 6th and Green, southeast corner, across
from Busey Bank.

Swing Dance in the Great Hall of the Wesley Foundation on the corner
of Green and Goodwin. The Pocket Big Band will start playing at 5:30
and then WDWS's and a DJ from 7:30 to 10:00. Admission is $3. The
Great Hall is quite large so there would be plenty of room to dance it
up.
