I need a partner--and I need it very fast for the OSB.

I have some bad news...so can you make me feel happy about dancing again?

Although Sarah Stalzer agreed to dance with me in the Dancing Illini
ballroom dance competition, family committments keep her from going to the
Ohio Star Ball to dance with me. My attempts to persuade her family
commitments to go to the Ohio Star Ball have all but totally vanished.

Therefore, I will need a good replacement partner so I can enjoy ballroom
dancing again. There will be no partner zone at the Ohio Star Ball at
all(unlike the Dancing Illini competition does). It will be extremely hard
for me to find a good partner for the Ohio Star Ball venue.

Some of you in ballroom dance competition venues where the "partner zone"
has not existed(just like they did in Purdue)may have secrets to find
a good partner without the so called "partner zone" in place. It will
happen
also at the OSB. So therefore, what is the best way to attract partners
without the partner zone concept? Partners can be found by "happenstance"
even when it is hard to get good dance partners, I believe.

I found a partner for the merengue by contacting
salsa-l@postoffice.cso.uiuc.edu(the Azucarrr Salsa Club's listserver). But
it will not be enough for me to
compete. I will try to find a ballroom partner on the Web as well. But it
may not work.

I need your help, fast! Kay Teague is about to close registration for the
Ohio Star Ball soon so please, respond. Thank you.

Don't keep me disappointed even more....
