On Thursday October 15 The Canopy at 708 S. goodwin hosts one the
hottest
swing bands around. HONK, WAIL, and MOAN is a six-piece band that starts
with
a cookin’ rhythm section that supports the hot horns that back up the
pleasing
vocals. The bands’ continual energy is pumped out during their swingin’
classics, and their wacky sense of humor shines through in their jumpin’
originals. This is an event no swinger should miss. The cover is $5.00
at the
door and the show starts at 10pm, so don’t be late.
As an added bonus for all the aspiring swingers out there, free dance
lessons
will be given prior to the show from 8:00 to 9:00 pm.
