For the team competition at 7:30 pm on sat night, we can have only
one team and there are only 4 dances. so 4 couples can represent our
school. the dances are waltz, tango, swing and cha cha. you can do either
international or american style.

so if you have a partner and have been practicing any of these dances
and would like to represent the U of I, let me know your 1st,
2nd and 3rd choices for a dance. Unfortunately, I can't pick
all 20 of you who are going, just 8.

Also, purdue just changed their rules so that people can dance up in
a syllabus category with a DIFFERENT partner. so if any beginner
or intermediate men out there already have a partner for beginner or
intermediate but want to dance with me for advanced, I am open for advanced
international style (latin and standard) these are both 4 dance events.
you're supposed to dance all 4. ANYONE WANT TO BE MY PARTNER?
ADVANCED includes walt, fox, tang, quickstep and cha, rumba, jive,
samba

Housing update: purdue has found places for everyone to sleep. if
you go to the dance on friday nite you'll definitely find your host
or directions to your host, but hopefully they will be thoughtful and
send directions ahead of time.

Rides: make sure you know who is in your car and that everyone has
everyone's phone numbers
