LEE ROCKER at Mabels
Swing lessons from 8:30 to 9:30 followed by a swing demo by several of
the swing instructors in Urbana-Champaign. Band starts at about 10pm to
closing.
Cost: $6, but I've negotiated a price of $4 for us swingers. Just tell
the doorman you're with the UIUC Swing Society
Lee Rocker was the bass player of the Stray Cats. It'll be a night of
fast & fun swing.

MISS MIDORI will be returning to Mabels!!!
Lessons will go from 8:30 - 9:30pm and the band will start around 10pm.
The cover has not been determined, but the owner wants to have another
discounted rate for the swing dancers.
Miss Midori and the Cocktail Swingers are a hot swanky band that plays
regularly up in Chicago. Their selection of music is great for both East
Coast Swing and Lindy Hop.
