Regent is proud to host an Argentine Tango Weekend!
Maria Castello and her partner Jacques Saint-Cry, from Montreal, Canada
will be here the weekend of October 30th. They will do a short
performance during the break at our Friday night dance. There will be
two Tango workshops the following day. On Saturday night, October 31,
Regent will host our first Tango Dance from 8:00-10:30pm.
Workshops with Maria Castello
Saturday, October 31
2:30-4:00
Introduction class:
No experience required. You will learn how to do the Tango walks, cross,
ochos, lead and follow, and basic music concept.
4:15-5:45
Intermediate Class:
Learn more Tango technique through many turning figures.
Register before Friday, October 23 and pay only $25 for both classes, or
pay $15 per class at the door. No partner required.
8:00-10:30
Dance
Maria and Jacques will perform at 9:30. Cost is $6:00.
Both Maria and Jacques are available for private lessons on Sunday at
$65 per hour. Sign up in advance with David Lin at the Regent. Don't
