For those looking for some swing excitement this weekend, Miss Midori
and the Cocktail Kings will be playing at Mabel's this Friday. Lessons
will be given by Miss Midori herself, starting about 8:00 pm. MM and
the CK are a Chicago band who play frequently at the Olive. Give them
your support this Friday, and maybe we can get them to return regularly.
For those who have inquired about swing lessons, I will be offering
swing lessons again at the CRU in October. I will send an official mail
shortly, but for the meantime, lessons will begin the 2nd week of
October (starting Oct 7 & 8) and will last 4 weeks. More soon...
