DANCE RITUAL
This is an introduction to dance with moves designed to familiarize
students with the basic technical vocabulary of ballet, jazz and modern
dance. Some experience in sports, ballroom or other movement is desirable.
The Dance Ritual is taught exclusively at White Street Arts Center by
Chester Wolenski.
Chester Wolenski trained at the Julliard School in New York, performed with
Jose Limon Company and was a member of the University of Illinois dance
faculty.
Visitors are welcome to drop in on any Wolenski class. For further
information contact Chester at 367-8480.

ABOUT THE CENTER
White Street Arts Center engages dedicated professionals to teach both
classical and alternative forms of movement arts. White Street also
sponsors several unique evenings of performance for the enrichment of our
students and the community at large which are supported in part by the
Illinois Arts Council, a state agency.
Enrolling is easy! Notify the instructor by phone of the class you wish to
take. Come to class a few minutes early to register. Students who are
unsure of committing to a class may attend on a drop-in basis. If you
subsequently decide to attend regularly, the full discounted tuition will
be applied. Late enrollment may be possible by talking to the instructor.
