I apologize for the long delay in getting out this information (my
computer monitor died). So, here's the information for Swing/Lindy Hop
classes this semester.
All classes are held in the CRU building, 2nd floor corner of Wright and
Green. Entrance is under the CRU awning on Green St. Each month, I
will be offering a 4 week class beginning the first week of that month
on the following days.
BEGINNING LINDY HOP/SWING:
Wednesday, 6-7 pm
OR
Thursday, 7-8 pm
INTERMEDIATE LINDY HOP:
Thursday, 8-9 pm
Cost is $20 per person.
Classes begin Wed, Sept 2 or Thurs, Sept 3
For those who have taken swing classes before but not the lindy hop, I
urge you to take the beginner class. The beginner class will cover
6-count swing basics and then move quickly into the Lindy Hop, starting
with the Swing Out and the Charleston. The intermediate class is
designed for those who have taken either my class last spring with the
dancing illini or over the summer at the CRU.
