2. Tango Society class tomorrow in Bloomington.
The Bloomington Tango Society is having their monthly Saturday class
tomorrow, July 11, 10-Noon. This is a good class. The teacher knows
his stuff, and dishes out interesting material for all levels.
The lesson fee is $15.00 / couple or $9.00 / single. They meet at the
Wrainbow Ballroom 101 E. Mulberry St. in downtown Bloomington.

3. Workshop with Nito and Elba Garcia at Tango Nada Mas in Chicago.
Mark your calendars! Nito and Elba are master teachers from Argentina.
They will be giving three workshops in Chicago, Aug 7-9.
Friday - beginners
Saturday - intermediate (Saturday night they'll have a social dance)
Sunday - advanced
Cost per session hasn't been set yet. I'll announce it again when I have

4. Guerrilla Parlour Ensemble performances
The local band "Guerrilla Parlour Ensemble" plays live Tango and
other music. The special feature for me is that they have a real, live
Bandoneon player!!
July 17 (Friday) -- Borders' Bookstore Cafe (8-10)
July 25 (Saturday) -- Bagelfest in Mattoon (around noon).
This band is fun to dance Tango to, especially when they play outdoors.
