Subject: Participating in the Demonstrations - July 11th 1998 Summer Workshop Evening Social
THE DANCING ILLINI of the University of Illinois would like to invite
you to perform a demonstration during the evening social dance at
the Summer workshop. The dance is scheduled to be held on July
11th from 7:30pm - 11:00pm at the Krannert Center University of
Illinois at Urbana-Champaign: Opera Rehearsal Room (2nd Floor) . The
demonstration will be scheduled some where between 9:00pm-9:30pm.
If you are concerned about being alone on the floor, DON'T WORRY!!
There will be more than one couple out on the floor at the same time
(we already have three couples from the Dancing Illini and a few couples
from other schools interested in showing off their moves). We'll be
playing Waltz, Tango, Foxtrot and QuickStep music, but you do not
have to dance all four dances - pick and choose your favourites,
whether International Standard or American smooth.
So, put on your ballroom gown, your tails or your best outfit and
share an experience you'll never forget with us!!
Participators will be admitted to the afternoon workshop free. Any dance
level is welcome.
