adelante is playing this sat. from 3-4pm in hessel park as part of the
champaign park district's summer fun series. the show is free, so come
enjoy the weather and the band.
the miavana afro-cuban jazz ensemble is playing at the jazz cafe (on the
corner or race and elm streets, urbana) this saturday from 9pm-12:30am.
also, there will be salsa this sunday at the pig, and sunday salsatecas at
the pig will continue indefinitely. and yes, all the sundays will be
"ladies nites" -- all women get in for free.
