Hello there fellow dancers from my past,
How are y'all doing? I hope that the visits to ND and OSU were very
productive. I gather our club is now getting pretty serious about
dancesport. My best wishes.

I just wanted to share my glee at having recently had the chance to dance
with the famous Debbie Ramsay, who was hired to teach the WCS at the UNC
BDC. For three years since I first saw her on 'CBS this Morning', I had
for ever wanted to dance with, and learn the WCS from her. Wow was it
worth the wait. Believe me fellas, she is absolutely wonderful to lead,
and oh so friendly. And her style is nothing like I have seen anywhere
before, period.

Needless to say, she picked apart my technique, at my behest, at the end of
our dance. But I was prepared. I never did describe what I do as
west-coast swing, mid-west coast swing perhaps...:)

It sure has been fun and this one night has made up for the days of poor
dance opportunities in the area. Move over Mark and Tania, I am now gonna
be a "swing"ing kinda guy myself...:)

Regards to everyone, and have a great srping. I may attend commencement,
an I hope to see you then.

Ciao.

Sri.

PS: And please, could someone tell Katherine Schaeffer that Sri says hi.
She is not just a great dancer and an excellent teacher, but a marvellous
person. You guys are sooooo lucky to have her over for two "free" (!!!)
workshops...
Sigh!!!
