This Tuesday, January 27 from 10am-4pm is Activity Day. This is the day
when all the registered student organizations at the University set up
booths in the Illini Union Illini rooms and introduce themselves to the
entire student body. The DI officers have reserved a booth so we can
greet all the returning students and let them know all about the Dancing
Illini.
Here's where you can help:
We need your help to man the booth for one-hour time slots, handing out
flyers, and generally smiling and gushing about the DI. In return we'll
provide lots of free soda.
Believe it or not, an hour or so of your time will really make a big
difference! We ask that people volunteer for a minimum of one hour, but
everyone is welcome to take on two or more. Please reserve a time-slot by
e-mailing(pareigis@uiuc.edu) or calling(332-3176) me ASAP.
Additionally, everyone is encouraged to come by the booth and help out
when they can. Have fun, chat with your fellow DI friends, and perhaps
provide a break for someone! This is a great opportunity to meet new
people as well as catch up on all the latest gossip with your returning
friends.
