they usually have dances on the 3rd sat night (hence tomorrow) and
2nd and 4th sunday afternoon of the month. (tomorrow night is something
fancy because of the holiday season, usually it isn't semi-formal but
will be tomorrow.) the dates seem to be coordinated with the top of the
levee dance parties which are the first sat of the month.
in feb and march the sat night dances are the 2nd sat of the month.
perhaps the owners could tell you the size of the dance floor,
it is a lot smaller than the regent but also had a smaller group of people.
there were maybe about a dozen couples there last sunday. there are
pillars in the room.
they will send you a map if you call and ask, mulberry is off of route 51,
but is a tiny street. you take route 74 from here (c-u) to us 51 and
go north, past where it becomes 1 way going north, past monroe and market.
mulberry is then a tiny street (looks like a parking lot which it sort of
is) on the left. if you hit locust st (ill 9 east) you've gone to far.
they probably could give you better directions than this, though, i'm
just looking at a map here.
