On Saturday, Nov. 22nd, you can swing-dance to your heart's content at the
Illinois Traditional Swing Dance Contest, American Legion Hall,
Collinsville, IL.
In between the dancing, watch competitors do their thing. This is a
low-key contest, unlike the Swing Invitational. The contest is
lead-follow; no routines.
Open dancing starts at 3 pm and goes to 5:30 pm. Contest starts at 6 pm
and goes til 11 pm. Open dancing in between classes and again from 11-12.
Admission is $12.

The American Legion Hall is on Rt. 159 in Collinsville, on the east side
of the road (not to be confused w. Knights of Columbus). It's an easy
3-hour drive from C-U.
