THANKS

I was recently trying to account for all my time to see where I'm spending
most of it and discovered that being Dancing Illini President isn't all
that much work anymore.

I wanted to thank all of my officers and appointees for taking charge and
getting things done. You guys are doing a wonderful job, though I often
get crabby and complain (fear caffine withdrawal). I wanted to do this on
the general list since I think everyone should recognize how well everyone
is handling their positions.

Over all, I also wanted to say that this semester, despite the time slot
problem, is going incredibly well. We have a large number of beginners
who are participating at DI Practices and DI activities are running like
clockwork thanks to many interested and active members.

Beyond each individual officer, I wanted to thank our volunteers,
with whom we truly have a team that supports itself and the members of the
Dancing Illini. Though I wanted to refrain from naming people since I
will indubitably miss many, I wanted to thank Tanja Hodges for the time
she has given and the responsibilities she has taken on; you're an
extraordinary volunteer. Thank you.

So, I hope to catch some of you at the dance tonight (Illini Union 314
6-9pm), and if you see one of the officers or volunteers, ask them to
dance and thank them for all the work they have been doing :)
