After one great year in Champaign-Urbana, I am back to Germany for
one week now, and I already miss you. I'd like to say THANK YOU VERY
MUCH to everybody!!! Thank you for making my time in Chambana so
great and special! You and all the dancing turned my year at UIUC
into one of the best times in my life. I enjoyed it very much. I
probably won't remember all the stuff I learned in my C.S.-classes,
but I will always remember you, I will remember all the time I spent
dancing, the dance classes, social dances, practices and
competitions, all the nice afterhours (and the delicious homemade
cakes and cookies), and even the monthly meetings.
Thanks to all officers for running DI! Thanks to all teachers for
improving my dancing so much! Thanks to all ladies for dancing with
me! (Thanks also to the guys who sometimes became a lady!) [And sorry
for stepping on your feet sometimes!] Thanks for always giving me
a ride to the Regent and other places in town! Thanks for always
being so friendly and helpful! Thanks for organizing the good-bye
party for me! Thank you very much for being a good friend! Thanks for
[everything I forgot to mention]!
I hope to see and dance with you again sometimes. You are more than
welcome to visit me in Germany, I am looking forward to welcome you in
Europe! Don't hesitate, choose Germany as the destination of your next
trip.
