If you didn't take advantage of the cheap rates for "Rollin' on the River"
(St. Louis' first swing-dance convention) back when I sent advance ticket
info to Cory Tsang a few months back, here's another chance!

Though full-event (Aug. 28-Sept. 1) registration fees are $50 thru Aug.
27th and $60 at the door, you can now purchase One-Day Only tickets for
$20 per day. That $20 admits you to some of the best swing-dancing you've
ever experienced w. the nation's best swing dancers, workshops, and
hospitality (free food or drinks provided by sponsors).

Rollin' on the River takes place at the beautiful Adam's Mark Hotel at 4th
& Chestnut in downtown St. Louis, right across from the Arch. The hotel's
enormous dance floor allows you to spread out and move as you dance to
music by DJ's such as Judy Collins and Butch Metcalf (NC) as well as St.
Louis' own excellent Terry James or the Gonna-Be's.

Workshops are $5 apiece, and feature such greats as Mike & Amber Cross
(CO), Butch & Betty Berrey (FL), Craig Hutchison (VA) -- yes, the SAME guy
who wrote the "Swing Dancer" book Mark B. used to carry around!! -- and
Willie & Diane Santacruz (St. Louis)

For more information, or to register, call Dan Cahill at 314/727-7909.
Please let your friends who aren't on email know about this, too.

See you on the dance floors! Or maybe at the Blues Festival which is
taking place at Laclede's Landing that same weekend. Happy dancing!
