One of the things I like about the DI comp compared to other comps is
that DI has the "A/B" categories (like Tanja, I have no commitment to
the names). I agree that it's much more fair that way. One year of
dancing could mean lots of private lessons or one large group class per
semester; obviously it's not fair to compare people with such different
experience levels.
I'm for keeping that system as it is--except possibly changing the
names.
