Saturday BBQ

Well, I've survived another birthday, the weather's started to clear, and
summer "officially" starts on saturday morning. Sounds like an excuse to
throw a party!

This saturday evening (the 21st), everyone is invited to come on over to my
apartment to eat, drink, and be merry. Things will get started at 6:30 (or
as soon after as I can get the grill hot), and last as long as people feel
like sticking around. There will be some beer, some wine, and a pretty
random assortment of mixable liquors available. I'll also have various
things to make shish-kabobs from. The meats will most likely be shark
marinated in teriyaki sauce, steak marinated in worstchesire sauce and
pepper, and chicken marinated in honey-dijon and pepper. Veggies available
will be green pepper, onion, tomato, and mushroom.

If there's anything special you want to eat/drink, feel free to bring it
along and I'll make space in the fridge/on the grill.

I'd like to get a rough idea of how much food to have ready, so if you're
definitely coming, try to let me know by saturday morning (384-7239 or
mbaumann@s.psych.uiuc.edu). Feel free to show up even if you don't RSVP.

As always, significant others (and even not-so-significant others) are welcome.

For anyone who hasn't been here, I live in apartment #24, 508 E. Michigan --
almost directly across the complex from Stu (for those of you who have been
to his parties). For anyone who hasn't been here or there before....

coming from campus:
go up Lincoln to Pennsylvania.
go East on Pennsylvania to Vine.
Turn left on Vine, and go north -- be ready for a quick right.
Turn right onto Michigan (its just before you hit the Domino's and
the elementary school)
Follow Michigan past the first (orange brick) apartment complext to
the second.
Go in the *last* (eastern-most) driveway of the second complex.
My building is in the northeast corner of the complex. It's one of
the old, mostly brick buildings (as opposed to the new, mostly
aluminum siding buildings)
The stairwells for the old buildings are hidden in what look like
little towers facing the courtyard. The stairwell that leads
to my door is in the northern-most tower.

Come on up to the second floor, apartment 24. If anyone gets lost,
call 384-7239, and I'll stick my head out the balcony to let you know where
we are.
