PBS is looking for actors, dancers and musicians interested in
helping to recreate the 1947 music and dance scene in the Midwest.
A variety of roles need to be filled-- characters with speaking parts,
ballroom dancers and big band musicians. Amateur and professional
performers are welcome. All actors, dancers and musicians should look
between the ages of late teens and early thirties. Shooting will begin in
late May and continue through June in the Champaign-Urbana area (with a
variety of time commitments depending on the role). The show titled, "I'd
be Delighted," will air on WILL-TV in September with the potential to air
nationally immediately following.
