with Tina Mangos
1:30pm - 10pm, Sunday, February 23rd
in the Illini Union Rooms B & C

The Dancing Illini would like to invite you to a dance experience you'll
never forget! Join professional dance instructor Tina Mangos, as she
shows you how to move your feet to the Latin beat! Tina will put us
through the paces in Salsa, Merengue and Cha-Cha (Latin nightclub style)
with lots of drills you can do on your own. You'll also have time to
practice during the session, where Tina will be there to coach you
individually.

It'll be a great way to release stress, to get a good dance workout,
and to learn some valuable social dance skills from a pro.

** About Our Instructor **

Tina Mangos has studied all forms of dance from ballet to ballroom.
She has taught in the dance department at Northern Illinois University,
along with various studios and workshops throughout the country. Currently,
she runs her own business, Creative Options, Inc. in Chicago, that offers
classes for children and adults, along with corporate programs. Her
expertise ranges from teaching Latin and ballroom dance, to stress
management and fitness programs, to choreography for special events.
Tina's philosophy is that without dance there is no rhythm and
creativity in life. Dance keeps you in touch with your most basic self.
Dance is a universal language. Tina also teaches Salsa at the Tropicana
Club, a popular dance club in Chicago. So, if you get a chance, stop by
and dance with her students to live Salsa music!
