Dave just began his waltz, quickstep, and cha cha class this past Friday.
It is a 6-week course, from 6-7pm on Friday, and at the price of $20, you
can't go wrong!
We had 12 men, but only 6 women show up. Any beginner from Tanja's or
Amy's class is at a level adequate for this class.
Dave is a wonderful teacher, and the REAL benefit of this class is the
time slot! Learn new steps from 6-7, take an hour for dinner, and then
dance away the night from 8-11, and practice the things you just learned.
When I started doing this 2 years ago, my dancing improved dramatically.
I credit Dave's classes, and the mileage at the Regent immediately
following his classes.
If you are interested in the class but are not sure how to get there, you
have two options:
1) take the 100 Yellow. It goes there.
2) Email this list with a subject title "HELP: Need ride to Regent for
Friday class" etc...
If you are worried that you don't have the experience neccesary for his
class, this is nonsense. If you've been through our beginner class up to
now, you are qualified.
We are still short of the 20 that David wanted, and we especially need
women in this class!
So come dance with us, learn lots of new cool steps, and impress people
on the floor!
