What can I say except that I agree with Corey completely and
think it is a travesty to let this opportunity slip by us.
Dave is a very helpful and good instructor who has more compassion
for us students than most businessman I know. In addition to
giving us half price deals for lessons, he often stays behind
to answer questions on techniques and actually does not kick us
out even if it means his having to stay late to close up...
Most beginners and even intermediate dancers want to learn a lot
of steps at first. But when you become serious about getting
better, you will want to work on technique as I did. This is
where a Professional Instructor such as Dave comes in handy with
his lessons and tips. I like to think, with the size of our
beginner and Intermediate classes of past and present, and with
the changes we have made, as Mark pointed out, to provide a bridge
between DI and Regent classes, there should be more people
interested in learning the technique than there were when I started
        at the Regent.
My advice to you is, don't let this interest wane. I hate to
admit this but we need Dave more than he needs us, so show some
strength in attendance and strive to keep his lessons alive.
And to Dave, if you are reading this, you still have to earn a few
more points from "Good Deeds" before St. Peter will admit you in
heaven, so keep the program open will you please...:-)
        Thanks Dave....
And to the rest of you, perhaps you should come and watch or compete
in the Illini Invitational. If it does not motivate you to get
better for whatever reasons you see fit, I would be quite surprised.
Happy dancing y'all, be seeing you.
        Ciao.
        Sriram.
