There are only 3 weeks left before the 8th Annual Dancing Illini
Invitational dance competition. It features categories for beginner and
intermediate level student dancers, so everyone can (and should) enter!
Come to our practice, Wednesday 9:30-11:00pm at the Regent Ballroom, find
some partners and work on your dancing. We'll have sign-up sheets
available to help you in your partner search. Additionally, at 10pm Lara
Yates will be teaching a free 15 minute Waltz lesson to help you prepare
for the competition.
Videos are also a great way to learn new moves or improve your technique in
the moves you already know. Why not borrow a couple from our extensive
library?
The video librarian will be available from 9:30 to 9:45 to accept video
returns and conduct loans for the upcoming week. Dancing Illini T-Shirts
can be ordered at this time.
Videos can be checked out during the first 15 minutes of every practice,
and are due back at the following week's first 15 minutes of practice.
You will be asked for a $2 donation (to help the club purchase additional
videos) and for a $20 cash deposit (which will be returned to you when
you return the video).
