Yes, you heard correctly, we are breaking our regular Friday night Regent
habit and heading NORTH to Rantoul. The Fanmarker Club is having a
9 piece Big Band play in the ballroom this Friday, August 30th, from
9pm to midnight.

Directions: Take HWY 45 north out of C-U. in Rantoul, turn Right onto
Chandler (there's a stoplight at this corner, it's the first stoplight on
the south side of town). Turn left onto Frost street (stop sign at this
corner). Look for the sign.

FANMARKER CLUB GRAND OPENING WEEKEND!
Friday, Aug 30: Dinner and Dancing in the Ballroom, 9 piece Big Band,
serving 5-8pm. Call for dinner reservations, or
come for Dancing only from 9pm to midnight.
Saturday, Aug 31: Willard Cratchelow Band (60's and 70's music) in
the Outdoor Pavilion, 7-10pm. DJ John Moomaw in the
Runway Lounge 10pm-1am
Sunday, Sept 1: Keith Harden Band in the Outdoor Pavilion 7-10pm.
There are other festivites going on throughout the weekend including
wine tasting and a 4 course dinner on thursday, a volleyball tourney on
sat, and a pig roast on sunday.
The ballroom is wonderful, the dance floor in the lounge is nice, but
very small. I do not have any information about the outdoor pavilion.
