someone sent me these ideas to post:

1. Ask David to give us discount tickets to the Salsa dance at the Regent,
to distribute to everyone in the Salsa section of the beginner class.

2. Provide half off the Regent's dance pass; it's normally 12 dances for
$50, $25 for class members and club pays $25. As a dance club, the more
chances to dance the better.

3. Road trip to Chicago or Indy for a big band dance. A 43 passenger bus
cost $800 per trip, club can charge a fee.

4. Dance shoe rebate - member buys new dance shoes from anywhere and club
helps by paying a percentage.

5. Formal/Dinner dance with a band. Rent Union ballroom or Regent for a
fine evening of dinner and dance. Many will enjoy dressing up, get a date,
performance during break, give awards to hard working officers and all that
fun stuff.

6. Hire a good pro to teach one class on campus. Student teachers are fine
but pros have extra drawing power and can teach more advanced concepts.
Shawn is gone but Sandy may teach a course for you. David can teach some
workshops on weekends too.

7. Plan and have for Friday night's "after-hours". Nothing is better than
food and friends after the dance. Pay for pizza and they will come, you may
able to do this at PD's after practice dance or a class, but do it weekly.

8. Get two chauffered limos for the club president to use. With hot tubs
in the trunks.
