As the semester slowly draws to a close, and my dancing friends still in
school fry the brains for finals, I have decided to revive an old party
favorite of mine -- the Post Finals Veg Out.
Saturday, May 11 I will be showing four 4-star dance movies (thanks to
Amy loaning me some of her videos). The planned schedule is
7:00 pm Strictly Ballroom (if you haven't seen this yet, you really
*must* try to come!)
8:45 pm Mambo Kings
11:00 pm Footloose
12:45 am Dirty Dancing
I will serve veggies, pop and popcorn. You bring whatever else you think
appropriate. Come for any or all of the shows. If you want to visit, but
don't care to watch these movies, my living room is at your disposal.
Movies will start pretty much on time, so come early to load up your
plate and not miss the beginning!
Located at 306 West John -- just west of State Street in Champaign. Look
for the yellow porch light and/or greenish porch swing. (35 2-STEP)
