Hi Everyone,
Just a quick reminder about the real-deal Cajun/Creole Evening coming up this Thursday, December 6th in 314 AB at the Illini Union, Urbana, IL.
This FREE evening starts off with two Dance Workshops led by Ken and Carole Gall from Indy. Then MORRIS ARDOIN & Friends will play wonderful Cajun/Creole Music for dancing or listening. This event is open to the public -- all ages welcome. No partner or experience necessary. Here's the schedule.
6:30 -- Zydeco Dance Workshop
7:30 -- Cajun Dance Workshop
8:30-11 -- DANCE w/ Morris Ardoin & Friends
Morris Ardoin, from Eunice, Louisiana (accordion and vocals) will be joined by Dennis Stroughmatt (fiddle, accordion, vocals) Jennifer Stroughmatt (guitar, rubboard, triangle, and vocals), Randy Cordle (bass and vocals), and Rob Krumm (guitar and vocals).
