1)MAKEUP TIME FOR LAST BEGINNER RUEDA CLASS
For those of you in our beginner rueda class, remember that we have
scheduled our makeup class for tomorrow(February 27) from 7p.m. to 8:15p.m.
See you then!
2)INTERMEDIATE & ADVANCED SALSA, AND INTERMEDIATE RUEDA!!!
Place: All classes are at the McKinley Foundation, upstairs in the
Westminster Hall (located on the corner of 5th and Daniel in Champaign)
Big Room with Air conditioning!
Free parking after 5pm in the university parking lot across the street!!!
Intermediate Salsa Class

Fridays, 6:45 - 8:00 PM
March 2 - April 13
This class is for people who have taken any beginners class before and want
to develop their dancing. We will build on the basic steps and turns, adding
new steps, moves, and combinations.
Advanced Salsa Class
--------------------------
Fridays, 5:15 - 6:30 PM
March 2 - April 13
Advanced moves, turns, combinations, and footwork.
Prerequisite: being very comfortable at the intermediate level
Intermediate Rueda Class

Tuesdays, 8:15 - 9:30 PM
February 27 - April 10
This class teaches you a salsa group dance that first became popular in Cuba
during the late 1950s. Everybody dances as a couple. As rueda means "wheel,"
couples stand in a circle. During the dance there is a constant changing of
partners, which makes it a vivid and joyfull spectacle. As seen in the
nightclub scene of the movie, "Dance With Me," rueda is of high energy and a
lot of fun.
Prerequisite: beginner rueda experience
Each session (5 classes in total) is $30.
No partner is required.

3)LATIN DANCE NIGHT ON TUESDAYS AT MCKINLEY
Please join us tomorrow night(February 27) as Latin Dance Night continues.
Here are the details:
WHEN?
This Tuesday & every Tuesday from 9:30p.m. to 11:30p.m.
WHERE?
McKinley Foundation, Westminster Hall (located on the corner of 5th and
Daniel in Champaign)
Big room located on the top floor.
Parking is free after 5p.m. in the garage across from the building on 5th
street.
HOW MUCH?
$1/person
WHAT?
In a friendly, relaxed, on-campus environment, enjoy hanging out with
friends, working on your new moves, and dancing a lot of salsa, some
cha-cha, merengue, and bachata to great music.
WHO?
All (including beginner, intermediate and advanced dancers alike) are
welcome.
