This Friday Oct 14 from 8-10 PM, we will be teaching a workshop "Intensive
Introduction to Tango" at the Phillips Recreation Center, 505 W Stoughton,
Urbana. The cost of the workshop is $10, reduced to $5 for those who were
registered in the Close Embrace Tango Weekend or who are currently enrolled in a Tango
Society course.
This workshop is a synopsis of the core material in our 4-week Foundations of
Tango course, which focuses on partner connection, musicality, and
navigation. Taking this workshop will prepare you for our Tango - 2 course that starts
next Monday Oct 17 (8:30-10 PM; 4 weeks for $30).
We teach the social style of tango danced in the night clubs of Buenos Aires.
Come and learn to dance tango as it danced in the city of it origin.
We look forward to seeing you on Friday.
