Hello Dancers!
Special invitation to all from Sherry DeWan... The local folk dance group -- the IFDS -- is having a dance party on Tuesday 10/11 from 7-10p in Cantebury House (next to St John's Episcopal Church/across from Gregory Hall on Wright St.) It's the 49th year of IFDS' existence, and the plan is to do favorite dances from 5 decades -- lines, circles, couples.
The folk dancers are hoping that those of us who dance w/ other groups will suit up and show up @ their party for food, fun, memories, memorabilia....
It's lovely to have old folk dance friends show up @ this kind of celebration.... but new dancers are welcome too! Come check out folk music and dance from other countries.....
All ages welcome. No partner or experience necessary. Fun for all!
