ISCOPE '98 Call for Posters The Second International Symposium on Computing in Object-oriented Parallel Environments December 8-11, 1998, Santa Fe, New Mexico http://www.acl.lanl.gov/iscope98/ The ISCOPE'98 is the second international symposium on computing in O-O parallel environments. It seeks to encompass a broad range of topics which address object-orientation, parallelism, and high-performance applications. In the ISCOPE'98, a poster session will be held. Authors preferring an informal and interactive presentation of their fresh results or on-going projects may submit a proposal for the poster. The topics include: * Scientific applications enabled by object technology * Parallel, distributed, and serial problem solving environments * Object-oriented parallel and distributed languages * Parallel extensions, tools and class libraries * Standardization * Meta-computing, and Internet applications * Compiler technology, and performance issues * Reflection for High Performance Computing * High-performance run-time systems * Real-time applications * Multi-agent systems * Data mining * Financial applications * Software portability, components, and reuse * Heterogeneous computing environments * Standards for object interoperability Proposals must be sent to ishikawa@rwcp.or.jp via e-mail, which should include: Subject: "[ISCOPE98] Poster proposal" must appear in the subject line. An abstract (less than 500 words) that describes the content of the poster. Name, address, e-mail, phone, and fax information for the presenter. Deadline for submission: October 2th, 1998.
