Installation Protocol of NAMD on Linux Cluster

Hi,

I have been running MD simulations on linux platform over desktop
workstation, using NAMD 2.9 Linux-x86_64-multicore version. Now, I would
like to use NAMD over linux cluster with following configuration: 64-bit
Intel processor, RHEL 5, Gigabit ethernet connectivity. The notes section
of the software package gives instructions for using NAMD on linux cluster
with Infiniband connectivity or other high-performance networks, but not
for Gigabit Ethernet connectivity.

1. Does the installation package used for linux PC
(Linux-x86_64-multicore) can be used for cluster as well?
2. Please describe step-wise the protocol necessary to be followed in
using NAMD on linux cluster with above specifications.
