Hi Ganesh,

are you sure the file is binary? Use "less your.vel" to check if it is ascii
maybe.

If that doesn't help, how much atoms and residues do you have in your
system?

Hi Folks,

  I am trying to load a binary vel file in VMD after reading the psf file. I
keep getting "Unable to load the molecule". The error I get on the console
is "Inconsistent atom count in file"

However I am able to cleanly load the dcd files on VMD.

Can you provide some suggestion? Any help is appreciated.
