Try catdcd. It provides multiple ascii modes like the amber trj or multipdb.

Hello,

I am using the command forceDCDfile to calculate the forces acting on each
atom during a protein MD simulation with namd2.8.
I need to translate these into ascii files but I can't figure out how.
Does any body have an answer ?
