no they don't. they'll be treated as individual devices.
in most cases, people attach multiple cpu cores to
the same GPU to get better utilization of the GPU.
however, there is a limit to that. adding more GPU
devices, should thus give you better performance,
unless you run into some other bottleneck, like
lack of PCI bandwidth or too few atoms and thus
too few work units to parallelize over.
