volume exclusion

Dear list,

Is there a straightforward way to tell NAMD that two bonds cannot
intersect? The linear bonds between two atoms act like springs, but
they don't have any spatial volume. I don't want my bonds to overlap
for my application.

Thanks,

     Kyle
