updating TCL version for NAMD?

Hi:

I was just wondering if there is a plan to synchronize the NAMD-TCL
version for NAMD with the VMD-TCL version.

While it's only minorly problematic maintaining the different versions,
NAMD is currently using an 8.3 TCL circa 2001. This version is not
configurable for most 64-bit operating systems, leading to hacks to enable
to code to compile properly.

Isn't it simpler to upgrade to an 8.4 version?
