Hi,

For all of you who struggle with HyperThreading on SMP machines, here is
an excellent tool enabling to pin processes to a CPU:

http://www.ccur.com/isd_oss.asp

run -b0,2 -nnamd2

will pin the 2 namd processes to different (physical) cpus.
