Hi Brian,

Well, I first tried to compile charm++ (Athlon64 running Fedora core3)
but I got a bunch of errors like:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:
At global scope:
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:310:
erreur: « _GLIBCXX_NUM_CATEGORIES » not declared
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:349:
erreur: « _Atomic_word » is not a type
/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:352:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:383:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:384:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:386:

/usr/lib/gcc/x86_64-redhat-linux/3.4.2/../../../../include/c++/3.4.2/bits/locale_classes.h:390:
erreur: « __c_locale » not declared

then I decided to download the charm++ binaries for amd64 from here
http://charm.cs.uiuc.edu/autobuild/bin/,
but then my problem was to find a suitable tcl, plugin and fftw for
amd64 from here : http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Research/namd/libraries/

and the Namd source from here :
http://www.ks.uiuc.edu/Development/Download/download.cgi?PackageName=NAMD

I really don't know if I went to the right url.

Olivier
