Hello everybody,
I am putting together a 10 node cluster mainly for running NAMD. I am
planning for the nodes to be dual processor with 512MB of RAM, CDROM and a
Gigabit card. It will run RedHat 9.0 and Clustermatic 3.0 Could anyone give
me advice if I should go with Xeons, AMD athlons , Opterons or Pentiums? How
much RAM should I get? And do I need hard drives for the nodes if I am going
to boot from Clustermatic 3 cdrom?
